Transform Your Dance Performances
- No Matter What Style Of Dance!

"Technique is what you fall back on when you run out of inspiration".
Rudolf Nureyev

Do You Have Trouble with Difficult Sequences or Routines?

Or Are You Affected by Doubts, Fears, Nerves or Negative Thoughts Before Dance Contests?

Or Simply Looking to Take Your Contest Results to the Next Level?

No problem! Regardless of whether you are a competitive or social dancer, training your mind - the control center of your body's dancing performances - massively increases the quality of your performances.

It also helps overcome any blockages or self-sabotage which may have been holding you back - and after that, the sky is the limit.

As a mental trainer, for the past few decades I have worked with a vast number of different styles of dancers from all over the world, teaching mental toughness and peak performance - to boost their competition performances, and deal with various issues, slumps in form, and challenges they encounter.

Though mental training is most often used around the world for traditional sports, the same mental training principles apply to dancers - who often need mammoth levels of fitness, flexibility and mental strength way above many of the traditional sports.

When two dancers of equal ability compete against each other, it is always the toughest mentally who handles the pressure best and comes out on top.

This is why mental training gives you the edge over most of your competitors who only practice their dance sequences and routines, but who do no form of mental preparation / mental conditioning.

It makes no difference what style of dance you do when it comes to mental training - because you are the one who customizes it to suit your exact needs.

So it works just as well for all styles of dancing, regardless of whether you are into rap dancing, street dancing, hip-hop, contemporary jazz / modern, Argentine tango, breakdance, country/western, latin, salsa or swing taplatin, all the way through to square dance, line dance, ballroom and ballet.

Your mental "wiring" has been delivering the dance results you have been achieving up to this point, because your mind controls your body (not the other way around as many seem to think!).

By tweaking the mental "software" that delivers your results on the dance floor, your body has no choice but to take on the new "instructions" it is being given - which it does automatically and effortlessly.

Among
the most powerful mental training techniques for transforming your dancing are visualization, relaxation and hypnosis, as these work together at the absolute control center of your performance.

This is your subconscious mind - which controls all bodily movement and stores your dance experience, moves and knowledge in your vast memory bank.

Visualization is a very powerful, world-renowned technique where you relax your mind and vividly imagine performing at the absolute peak of your dance ability at your next dance or competition.

When this is done correctly at regular intervals, this technique powerfully programs your body's inner computer for your next dance performance.

The power of this technique is how easily you can customize it to your next performance, or to focus upon any area of your dance you wish.

Visualizing on a regular basis allows you to:

  • Pre-program and fine-tune your dancing sequences, routines and general performance

  • Maintaining a strong core and eyeline

  • Overcome technical flaws, and increase efficiency and consistency

  • Increase confidence and self belief

  • Overcome feelings of intimidation and fear, and erase recurring negative habits and self sabotage

  • Increase relaxation levels both before and during performance to enhance the fluidity of your dance performance, and reducing inhibiting extreme nervousness

  • Increase concentration, focus and mental endurance in both practice and competition

  • Strengthen your natural motivation to practice
  • Improve any area of your performance effortlessly

  • Have a proven secret weapon your competitors don't know about!

  • Accelerated learning of new dance moves, styles and techniques

  • Accelerating the healing of injuries, and much more.

Just like going to dance practice, visualization is much like doing an inner dance practice each day in your mind
- though unlike physical practice, you don't have to leave home and it only takes about 20 minutes each day - and can be easily customized each day to your exact needs.

Needless to say, when mind and body are both trained up to achieve the same goal, it delivers results which are far stronger than those achieved by physical practice alone.

These techniques transform performances quickly, easily and effectively - and they always work, simply because the mind controls your dance "blueprint", and there is no other place the body can get its physical dance instructions.

Unfortunately while visualization is designed to increase performance, we also have our own non-stop version of visualization going on inside of us, where we can be unknowingly visualizing ourselves to fail - much like running a constant movie though your mind which is programming your future results.

So ensuring your mind is positively programmed for dance success is the only way to guarantee your performances on the dance floor, and to overcome any old programming as well.

Access Your Inner Dance "Zone"

It is well known that mental training can also help dancers and sporting competitors to access The Zone - the awesomely powerful mental state known around the world to deliver the absolute peak level of performance, both in dancing and also in all sports.

The Zone occurs when the subconscious mind takes control of your performance, which delivers instinctive, automatic and brilliantly fluent results which seem to come from deep within, without any thought.

With mental training, performance seems to flow almost magically, on auto-pilot - which is far more powerful than whenever we consciously or manually try to control every action or movement of our performance.

When a dancer is 'zoning', their conscious mind becomes relatively quiet (the normally busy, chattering mind which often 'over-thinks' routines which breaks down dance co-ordination) and this allows their more powerful subconscious to run their dance performance on auto-pilot, the way a computer runs software.

This allows their movements, thoughts and technical ability to flow, in a way that can never be rivaled by conscious thought, and this effortlessly increases quality of performance.

This is not to say that your body is performing without instruction - on the contrary, you are simply getting your instructions from a far more powerful and reliable source.

Though mental training techniques are proven to work and are used around the globe, some people remain unconvinced about their power until they first try them, and then realize how dramatically they can influence performance.

They work, of course, simply because all bodily movement comes directly from the mind. The subconscious contains all your dancing memories, knowledge and experience and is designed to help you succeed - but just like any computer, it also has the ability to work against us if not programmed correctly.

When self-sabotage occurs, it shows through various ways, such as forgetting segments in a routine, poor form, lack of flow and unison, low confidence, etc.

In order to create improvement in a short time - that is, permanent improvement that will truly last - your mind needs to be programmed for success at the subconscious (software) level.

This must happen before the external results will then begin to change - as otherwise fast improvements simply never last.

Mental training also helps improve our attitude and mindset for performance, as having a positive expectation of success is massively important for success, because we tend to get what we expect rather than what we deserve.

Along with this, it also helps us to break out of negative or recurring patterns, or self-sabotage in performance - as the mind can just as easily work for us, or against us, depending upon how it is programmed.

When it comes down to it, it's the mind that controls the body - but most dancers tend to see this the other way around until they experience a problem in performance or begin to understand how the mind / body connection works in dance.

The recognized techniques of guided relaxation, visualization and hypnotic suggestion are powerful ways to influence your mind at the deepest levels, and dramatically increase your dance success.

However, as the relaxation and visualization needed to be done correctly to get the best results, and I noticed some dancers struggled with this on their own.

For this reason, I created a powerful guided relaxation / visualization recording which automatically guides you through the entire experience of 'dance' visualization, quickly and easily - and also contains powerful hypnotic suggestions for increasing performance.

This has been used by many different styles of dancers to pre-program dance sequences and routines, overcome nerves and reach their peak level of performance when it counts most.

The recording firstly takes you down into the perfect level of relaxation for mental training, which is followed by powerful hypnotic suggestions for building confidence, belief, relaxation and performance.

This is followed by silent time to allow you to tailor your visualization perfectly for your next major dance or dancing competition, so you can pre-program your performance and improve your technical mastery.

Most importantly, this visualization and hypnotic Dance recording can be easily customized to suit your exact needs each day. The main benefits of this powerful visualization recording have been:

  • Automatic Relaxation - the recording places you into an easy and automatic state of relaxation perfect for visualization (and also teaches you how relax in case you need to do a quick visualization before you perform).

Hypnotic Suggestions - designed to build inner dance confidence, inner belief, relaxation and emotional control.

Visualization which you can customize perfectly to your next dance or competition - to pre-program your performance, sequences and routines, for future dancing success. This can be used for many other purposes as well, including sports, business, and even for many life issues.

Helps Overcome Extreme Pre-Dance Jitters / Nerves - the relaxation helps overcome chronic nervousness before and during performance - and most importantly, without over-relaxing.

The Recording Becomes More Powerful Each Day - hypnotic suggestions have been designed to make the recording become stronger and more effective each day.

  • Unlimited Free Advice and Product Support - email me any time with any questions you may have in regard to your mental training, and I promptly reply with an answer and solution.

As with most of our programs, this particular recording was created working with a competition dancer, which ensures that every area of performance is covered and can be successfully tailored to any future performances.

This recording can be used any time of the day, in the convenience of your own home, and can also be used on an ongoing basis for as long as you need - saving you the cost of private consultations which can often cost several thousand dollars.

It's much like having your very own personal hypnotherapy session, to prepare you to meet your challenges ahead with unlimited power and unquenchable belief.

But the best recommendations come from our readers. Here are a few of the hundreds of emails I receive each year:

"Craig: I just wanted to let you know that with only 1 week of listening to your recording, my daughter placed 5th in her dance competition (out of over 100 of the top dancers in our region) and qualified for the World Championships!

Even her teachers commented on how very confident she seemed on stage...I only told them later about the positive imagery recording. She's always had the technical ability, but would get too nervous at competitions. I must say that listening to you for that short amount of time must have made a difference...it's the only thing we added into her training.

She plans on continuing to listen to the recording every day that she has the time as she prepares for the World's. Thanks!"
Julie

"Hi Craig - I am just back from competition - a bit exhausted but wanted to drop you a note.

Thank you so much for your recording for dance - I believe it helped me quite a bit in a very short time! My only regret is that I got it less than a week before competition.

One of my biggest battles when competing has been nerves; I got so much anxiety in the on-deck area that I was unable to relax and dance my best.
This competition I was relaxed, talking and laughing with people in the on-deck area and confident walking onto the floor.

My dancing was good and I placed well in all of my heats (International Standard - 5 first place, 3 second place, 2 third place and a second place in a 5-dance championship which I am extremely pleased with!).

Most of all, I was relaxed, focused and present while I was dancing where in the past I sometimes let anxiety take me out of my body so I danced on autopilot.

I will continue to use the recordings as I prepare for my next big competition, and since I will have so much time to use them I expect I'll see even better results. Thank you again".

NB. If you have any questions or want to get more specifics, feel free to get in touch with me via this website, and I'd be happy to share more details of my experience(s) with this program.
