  • Exercise - this is a good physical release of emotional and physical energy. This does not mean you necessarily have to join a gym - even walking is an excellent exercise.   

    Any form of moving your body relieves stress and helps circulation.

  • Tai Chi or yoga - ancient and effective moving forms of meditation, usually requiring attending a weekly class.

  • Reading - a good way to 'escape the world' for a short time, before coming back to reality.
The most essential key is to find a method that personally works best for you - because the world's best relaxation method is not going to work for you unless you enjoy it!
